Building and Keeping a Healthy Pond Tour July 14th at 6BC Botanical Garden, 6th St & Ave B Garden, and Oasis Community Garden Cary York, William Hohause, and Pam Pier shared the ponds at their gardens to demonstrate how to set up and sustain healthy pond ecosystems.

Organic Gardening July 19th at La Plaza Cultural Gerard Lordahl, director of the Open Space Greening Program for CENYC, explained what the word "organic" means and gave practical advise on how to incorporate organic methods into gardening.
